The Natural Fragrance of Citrus is an organic plant based ingredient. It smells “delicious”…but please—don’t eat it!!!
Your “FIRST” application of this wonderful Pain Cream will prove you have made a worthy purchase! You “WILL” feel the difference!!!
Included, is a blend of “good sourced” ingredients, providing a broad scope of personal benefits, aiding in the stabilization, application and protection of this amazing Topical Pain Cream product:
Let’s quickly mention water, specifically the Deionized Water used in our Pain Cream product. Since almost all skin care creams have water as their main ingredient, it is important that this water is Deionized! Water that is not completely “pure” would interfere with the products stability and performance. Our deionized water is ultra filtered to remove all impurities. Deionized water has had all of its mineral ions removed, such as sodium, calcium, iron, chloride, bromide and copper.
It must meet strict microbiological standards to ensure no impurities are present, and that the water is de-ionized, as described above. Only water that is free of pollutants, microbes and toxins is used in our Pain Cream formulations. Our deionized water is also a spreading agent, assisting in the thorough and even application of the product. As well as a solvent, meaning it helps keep the constituent ingredients contained within the Pain Cream, in solution. Solvents are a crucial part of skin care products because they are used to dissolve certain ingredients helping to enhance texture, functionality, and sensorial attributes.
Included is plant based Palm Stearic Acid (derived from Palm Oil), a saturated long-chain fatty acid improving texture and consistency of the Pain Cream product, lending to a “creamier” feel. Palm Stearic Acid’s emollient properties help lock in moisture, protecting the skin’s surface against water loss. Palm Stearic Acid is also an emulsifier, meaning it has the ability to hold substances together, like compounds of oil and water, keeping these apposing compounds from separating, stabilizing the product, and extending its shelf life. It is also a lubricant, assisting in the smooth even application of the Pain Cream product by reducing friction. Deemed safe by the FDA, it's approved as a food additive.
21 CFR 184.1090.
We have added plant based Cetearyl Alcohol, a fatty alcohol, as an emulsifier, to stabilize the product, preventing separation, also thickening the cream. Cetearyl Alcohol also encourages even application of the cream as well as softens the skin. The FDA has also deemed Cetearyl Alcohol, as a safe food additive.

One thing that makes Kosher Vegetable Glycerin such an amazing additive in beauty products, as well as our Pain Cream is its “humectant property”—Super Moisturizing Power!—its the ultimate additive in helping aid and smooth skin by locking in moisture to even the flakiest of surfaces! Helping to treat and prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin and minor skin irritations—decreasing itching and flaking. Our plant-sourced Kosher Vegetable Glycerin also has antimicrobial and antiviral properties—Glycerin is also an FDA-approved treatment for wounds. The FDA states, ‘Glycerin is expect to be safe to use by adults and children.’—being used as a food additive.
21 CFR 182.1320.
Ethylhexylglycerin is a synthetic (combining two or more ingredients together to make a single compound) ingredient derived from vegetable oil glycerin, with an EWG (Environmental Working Group) score of 1 (lowest hazard rating) and a rating of “GOOD” from Paula’s Choice. Ethylhexylglycerin is a humectant (retaining or preserving moisture) as well as an emollient (moisturizing—having the quality of softening or soothing the skin). Ethylhexylglycerin also has the ability to boost the antimicrobial performance of other ingredients to protect products from spoilage— containing a multifunctional preservative component.
Due to its antimicrobial action, it also makes a great deodorizing ingredient. It is thought that Ethylhexylglycerin’s preservative characteristics come from its ability to also act as a surfactant. Surfactants are ingredients that reduce surface tension, in the case of Ethylhexylglycerin, the disruption in the surface tension on bacteria surfaces, potentially damages the cell membranes of bacteria, preventing its growth! One caution with this ingredient or “any” preservative, is with people having sensitive skin types, as it can potentially cause contact dermatitis (a skin rash caused by contact with a certain substance). This is the same caution many Dermatologists give to their patients with sensitive skin when using any product with “preservatives.”
Bottom Line: Ethylhexylglycerin is a skin conditioning agent (moisturizes, softens, retains moisture in the skin) helping to improve the appearance of the skin, also having a beneficial anti-microbial, deodorizing and preservative effect! Studies verify the safe use of this ingredient.

Phenoxyethanol is a broad-spectrum preservative that is used (and has been for decades) in skin care and cosmetic formulations to prevent microbial contamination and active ingredient deterioration. It is a preservative against bacterial contamination. It’s antimicrobial and highly effective in preventing the growth of fungi, bacteria, and yeast in our Topical Pain Cream. This ingredient enhances the safety of our Pain Cream and prolongs the period of time the product can stored. Because Phenoxyethanol does not react with other ingredients, air or light, it helps with the stability of the Topical Pain Cream product. Phenoxyethanol is also effective at protecting against pathogens in a wide variety of products, including this Pain Cream product. The FDA reviewed the safety of (Octyl) Phenoxyethanol and approved its use as an “indirect food additive.” The Phenoxyethanol content in our Pain Cream product is less than 1%.
21 CFR 175.105.
The Phenoxyethanol was evaluate by the JOURNAL OF THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF TOXICOLOGY, Volume 9, Number 2, 1990 (Mary Ann Liebert, Inc Publishers) entitled—Final Report on the Safety Assessment of Phenoxyethanol. Page 16 of this report states—Conclusion: ‘On the basis of the available information presented in this report, the Expert Panel concludes the Phenoxyethanol is safe as a cosmetic ingredient in the present practice of use and concentration.’
As stated, many Dermatologists caution their patients with sensitive skin to be careful using topical products with preservatives. It is a general recommendation. We have provided the following as an aid and guide to a possible solution regarding the use of our topical Pain Cream, for those with “sensitive” skin issues:
Dermatologists caution people with sensitive skin to test products having preservatives (most topical products contain preservatives) before using them in a liberal fashion. One dermatologist we researched suggests placing a very small spot of product on your arm, twice daily, for three consecutive days, on the exact same spot. If no difficulty occurs, it is thought to be generally safe to apply the product liberally to other parts of the body. We trust your intelligence and good judgement in determining the safe use of our Topical Pain Cream for your personal use. Remember, when in doubt—consult your physician!
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride—a Medium Chain Triglyceride—commonly called MCT Oil, is an ingredient commonly found in USDA Certified Organic Products. The MCT Oil contained in our Pain Cream is derived from combining coconut oil with glycerin. This product has been used in cosmetics for more than 50 years. It helps smooth and soften skin. Being an emollient, it works to trap moisture in your skin forming a protective layer so the moisture can’t escape—making Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride an effective skin-softening ingredient. This ingredient also works as an antioxidant. It also binds other ingredients together, and can work as a preservative of sorts, to make the active ingredients in our Pain Cream last longer.
The FDA deems Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride a “Direct Food Substance” affirmed as Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) to be used as a food additive.
